The symposium will bring together practitioners, researchers, community organizations, people with lived experience, and others engaged in grief support and bereavement care across Nova Scotia. 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We are now accepting abstract submissions for Symposium 2026. We welcome presentations, workshops, and creative sessions that align with this year’s theme: Mobilizing Grief: Building Networks of Care. We encourage submissions from professionals, community organizations, researchers, artists, and individuals with lived experience. Topics may include oral presentations, skill-building workshops, and experiential sessions such as art, music, or storytelling.

Call for Abstracts opens May 25 and closes July 6, 2026. More information on abstract guidelines and where to submit can be found below.
